It would be fun if images could be twisted or bent out of their original shape. This is what the jQuery Image Warp script does to selected images on a web page. Merely clicking on these images causes them to change in dimensions and they regain the original dimensions once the mouse is moved away.
It finds great merits when a delay is required before the user could make contact with the actual link in the image. All aspects of the script including the image used, duration of the effect, and the final dimensions of the image as compared to its original ones could be customised with ease. A collection of images could be used in this case.
The web developer only needs to add a script freely available over the internet between the <head> </head> tags of the web page.
