Dynamic HTML scripts like Image Resizing combines the power of scripting languages, document object models and style sheets to lends power and intelligence to web pages. In this case, it changes the size of images by stretching or scaling them. It finds application in animations, and giving special effects to images.
The concept of Image Resizing evolved when images were found to be difficult to handle within the limitations of bandwidth. This is not compatible with older versions of browsers. Image Resizing is found to operate on modern browsers like Opera 7+, Internet Explorer 6 and FireFox.
